Description:
• Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the auto body service department, including scheduling and assigning tasks to technicians, estimators, and administrative staff.
• Ensure that all repair and maintenance work is completed on time and meets the highest quality standards.
• Oversee the workflow within the shop, monitoring the progress of repairs and resolving any issues or bottlenecks that may arise.
• Communicate with customers to provide updates on the status of their vehicle repairs and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Collaborate with insurance companies and adjusters to handle claims and negotiate repair estimates.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of repairs, inventory, and customer information.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve shop efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Train and mentor staff, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure compliance and the adoption of best practices within the auto body repair field.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular inspections to identify and address any potential hazards.
