Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Roofing External Technical Sales Rep to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling our roofing products and services to customers and providing technical expertise and support. The Roofing External Technical Sales Rep will work closely with customers to understand their needs and recommend the best roofing solutions. The candidate must have a strong understanding of roofing materials, installation techniques, and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with customers to promote roofing products and services
- Identify potential sales opportunities and generate leads through networking, cold calling, and other sales strategies
- Provide technical support and expertise to customers regarding roofing materials, installation techniques, and industry regulations
- Prepare and present product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proposals to customers
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales targets and objectives
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and new products to effectively sell to customers
- Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns

Requirements:

  • Sales: 3 to 4 years
  • Technical Focus
  • Coating of Roofs (Maintenance and New)
  • Project Selling (Architects Engineers, Quantity Surveyors)
  • Corrosion Protection
  • Waterproofing
  • Added value (Liquid Applied Waterproofing)

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in roofing sales or technical sales role required
- Valid SA Drivers License and reliable vehicle in your possesion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with customers
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel to meet with customers and attend industry events

  • Coating of Roofs (Maintenance and New)
  • Project Selling (Architects Engineers, Quantity Surveyors)
  • Corrosion Protection
