6 month contract, expected to work Full-Time hours
Job Duties:
- Manage IT projects from initiation to closure
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Ensure project objectives are met within the agreed timeline and budget
- Lead project teams to successful project completion
- Implement project management best practises
- Manage system integration, data migration, and cloud computing projects
- Oversee change management processes
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Information Technology
- PMP certification
Experience:
Minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in IT project management
Knowledge and Skills:
- Project Management expertise
- Experience in healthcare or insurance industry
- Stakeholder Management skills
- Change Management proficiency
- System Integration knowledge
- Data Migration experience
- Cloud computing familiarity
- MIP knowledge
- NEXUS knowledge
Working Conditions:
This role is based in Western Cape, City of Cape Town, Cape Town. The IT Project Manager is expected to work full-time hours on a contract basis. The position may require occasional travel for project meetings and stakeholder engagements.
