Description:
1. Receiving of raw materials and storage
2. Accordingly instruct/co-ordinate with drivers with issuing paper in Production
3. Arranging of warehouse, including space optimisation
4. Ensuring all reels (full and part) have labels and manage accordingly.
5. Cycle counting in raw material, finished goods and printed material.
6. Assisting in Finished Goods area when Distribution Supervisor not available
7. Pre-receipting raw material when Engineering Storeman not available
8. Getting involved in 6 monthly and annual stock counts.
9. Any other ad-hoc duties within the supply chain/logistics area.
10. Ensures that the correct material and quantity is available to meet the production program.
11. Issues Non-Conformance if above is out of specification or not suitable for production.
12. All incoming Material is to be inspected visually for Quality, if defects appear report to Supply Chain Manager
Requirements:
- Receiving: 3 to 4 years
- Cycle Counting: 3 to 4 years
- Space Optimization: 3 to 4 years
- Warehouse Supervisor: 3 to 4 years
- Stock Counts: 3 to 4 years
1. Grade 12
2. Tertiary qualification in sales/supply chain/logistics or similar
3. Computer literate – be proficient in MS Office
4. Be a driven individual with a passion for excellence, disciplined, self-motivated and proactive.
5. Have the ability to adhere to strict deadlines and work under minimal supervision.
6. Have strong administration and organization skills.
7. Possess good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate well at all levels.
8. Have the ability and experience to work in a cross-functional team environment.
