Key Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) registration.
• Proven experience as a Construction Quantity Surveyor, with a strong background in construction cost management and procurement.
• In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and tendering processes.
• Experience in preparing and analyzing tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQs), and cost estimates for construction projects.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard quantity surveying software such as CCS Candy, BuildSmart, or similar.
• Strong understanding of construction cost control, including tracking project expenditures, assessing variations, and managing subcontractor claims.
• Ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and value engineering assessments to optimize project costs.
• Familiarity with relevant construction codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
