My client is seeking a skilled Debtors Manager to oversee debt collection strategies and operations across their company.The successful candidate will manage policies, regulations, and relationships while leading system development, financial management, and team performance.
This role is based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.
Key Responsibilities:
Debtors Management:
- Develop and execute debt collection strategies for the company.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Manage processing of bad debt and account queries.
- Maintain customer relationships and liaise with stakeholders.
- Lead business improvement projects and monitor debtor’s book.
- Implement and maintain debt collection systems and procedures.
- Provide support for new enterprise-wide systems.
- Prepare and monitor budgets.
- Recommend spending variances.
- Manage collections team performance and recruitment.
- Develop team capabilities and conduct performance reviews.
- Resolve issues with brand financial managers.
- Provide regular collection reports and communicate process enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
- Proven experience in debtors management.
- Experience working in a Shared Services company is non-negotiable
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
