Requirements:3-4 years of transport experience.Level 4 equivalent to Matric.Proficient in English.Responsibilities:Effectively and successfully assist in managing the Operations, ensuring the Warehouse, Fleet and Administration is done effectively and efficiently.Assist with supervising offloading, checking and identifying damaged cartons, resealing them and photographing where necessary.Ensuring maximum customer satisfaction through fast, friendly and effective customer service.Nurture, guide and assist all employees where required in order to maximise productivity and establish a culture that inspires employees to give their best.Ensure all deliveries that require a booking are done and the relevant information is captured and reflected.Capturing the diesel daily onto the diesel spreadsheet, ensuring there are no problems are irregularities. Reporting any irregularities immediately to the Branch Manager and General Manager.Ensure the efficient and effective running of the Fleet, including the servicing and maintenance, and management of fuel consumption. This includes the management of Deliveries and Collections.Reporting breakdowns to the Branch Manager, Operations Manager and/or Workshop Manager immediately.Control and ensure that board trolleys and other equipment are accounted for.Inspect all vehicles under your control on a daily and weekly basis for damage or defects and ensure the cleanliness of the cabs.Report any new damage or defects to the Branch Manager and Workshop Manager immediately. You should establish what happened and who was responsible for the damage.
