Description:
A company based in Pretoria East has a vacancy available for a Configuration Manager with experience in CAD models and drafts and their use within a PDM System.
The ideal candidate needs to have a relevant Degree with at least 5+ years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate needs to have the ability to draw/draft and ensure that all drawings are correct.
Responsibilities:
- Update CAD models and drawings.
- Create CAD models and drawings of physical plants and equipment where they do not exist.
- Conceptualize and develop new design solutions taking certain hardware through its full lifecycle.
- Drive product lifecycle management (PLM) strategy (with an emphasis on implementation), based on company requirements to align with global best practices.
Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of various manufacturing methods for precision applications.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
