Description:

Responsibilities:General oversight and administration management of the finance team.Overseeing the Durban costing procedures and costing team. Producing daily work in progress costing schedules for project managers. Producing monthly project partials reports for Directors to review. Reviewing and concluding all project closures for Durban. Working with the operational team on cost efficiencies, including negotiating best pricing and payment terms with suppliers and contractors.Manage agent commissions schedules, approvals and payments.Work with the Group finance team to improve capital cycles, with specific focus on invoicing and cash collection procedures.Prepare financial forecasts for the Durban business unit. Implementation of improved stock and asset control procedures.Assist with improving reporting times of monthly management accounts.Requirements:Relevant finance degree and either a CIMA orCA(SA) qualification 5+ years'experience in an operational and business environment (international exposure advantageous) Experience using SAP / Syspro / Sage / Infor / JDE / MicrosoftStrong team and project management skills Great strategic thinking skillsCandidate must be willing to travel to business units across South Africa as and when requiredPlease note if you have not heard from us in 2 weeks from application, please consider yourself unsuccessful - please do continue to follow us online and apply for suitable roles.
