Description:

A leading electrical engineering company, providing cutting-edge systems and solutions throughout Africa, seeks a skilled Project Support Engineer to join their Nelspruit team. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in supporting multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring their smooth progress and successful delivery. What you'll do:
  • Assist Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and monitoring project activities.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and risk assessments.
  • Manage project communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create presentations and reports to clearly communicate project information and progress.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively.
  • Support with procurement and logistics activities for projects.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes.
Who you are:
  • Possess a postgraduate degree in Business Management, Project Management, or Electrical Engineering (or a relevant field).
  • Have a strong understanding and experience with a formal project management methodology (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
  • Are highly proficient in the MS Office Suite and possess a willingness to learn new software quickly.
  • Skilled in planning and organizing tasks effectively, meeting deadlines, and managing your workload.
  • Have experience working in a project or manufacturing environment, preferably within the electrical engineering sector.
  • Can analyze and present information clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
