Description:
Position Overview: Supervises all housekeeping employees, has the authority to hire or discharge, plans, and assigns work assignments, give training for newly recruited employees, audit and inspects housekeeping personal work assignment and requisitions supplies. Take care of the budget and budget controlling for the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of all guest rooms, suites, and public areas.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
Train, supervise, and motivate housekeeping staff to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinate with the procurement department for replenishment.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleanliness and safety standards.
Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper in a hospitality setting.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks accordingly.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; or related field preferred.
Certification in housekeeping or related field is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office and housekeeping management software.
