Description:
The successful Finance Analyst: New Products candidate will be responsible for the accuracy of management reports, budgets and forecasts, and financial planning as well as supporting the business unit in analysing, reporting, and improving financial results on new products. KEY TASKS: Perform financial planning and analysis Finance support and general accounting operations and external reporting Prioritize and manage business demands and business partner expectations Analyse Business Case and Return on Investments IFRS15 Revenue recognition Financial Model ling Analysis of profit and loss/return of investment, all round understanding of all aspects eg. Stock; Debtors Forecasting of sales and revenue Deal with different stakeholders in the business, work with sales and revenue teams to understand discounts and credit books QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: BCom Accounting Honours Certified CIMA or CA (SA) EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIRED: Understanding the full cycle of products sold in a business Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in a similar role Sound knowledge of IFRS SAP experience advantageous Advanced excel skills Stock and Sales exposure COMPETENCIES: Attention to detail Presentation skills Analytical thinking Deadline driven Results driven Problem solving Interpersonal skills Assertiveness Able to work in a pressurized environment Decision making Team player Conflict management Risk management Agile
