Description:
To conduct first line maintenance and repairs of industrial instrumentation to ensure maximum optimisation and minimum downtime of the production sections. * Trade Test Certificate in Instrumentation (NQF level 4). * 5 years experience in industrial instrumentation and process control systems. * Basic PLC programming, smart instrument configurations, maintenance of process control. * Ability to interpret and read Instrument diagrams, P&ID’s and PFD’s. * Excellent fault-finding skills. * Medically fit for BMR. * To perform maintenance according to the weekly maintenance schedule. * To attend to daily instrumentation breakdowns. * Overhaul field instruments, i.e. valves, transmitters etc. * Replace and or install data cables, i.e. analogue, digital fibre, network etc. * Conduct ISO calibration according to work procedures to ensure that product is on specification. * To act responsible and take accountability for all work activities performed. * Perform standby duties as per the standby roster. * To perform maintenance according to the weekly maintenance schedule. * To attend to daily instrumentation breakdowns. * Overhaul field instruments, i.e. valves, transmitters etc. * Replace and or install data cables, i.e. analogue, digital fibre, network etc. * Conduct ISO calibration according to work procedures to ensure that product is on specification. * To act responsible and take accountability for all work activities performed. * Perform standby duties as per the standby roster.
