*Phakisa Holdings are looking for a Engineering Storeman in Berlin East London * Purpose of the Role To control and maintain Engineering Stores to optimum efficiency to assist in meeting Maintenance KPIs. *Contributes to Functional Strategy into Action * • Action and initiate SIA actions. *Operational Control of Engineering Store System* * Ensure correct procedures are followed to maintain stores activities. * Receive and store parts in the absence of the Engineering Clerk. * Maintain the machine operating manuals and drawing Library. * Check the issuing of parts to see whether stock levels are in line with requirements. *Procurement * Fulfils the procurement function by: * Purchasing of parts for stock as well as direct purchases on a daily basis, see that the correct stock levels are maintained.(According to Min and Max stock levels on the On-Key system). * Contacting Maintenance Manager if there are any problems in finding critical spare parts, i.e. Pellet Mill parts. * Researching prices and availability at all times to ensure that parts are of the best prices and quality. *Administration (ON Key Stores System)* * Documents must be processed and checked on a daily basis to ensure that correct info is available at all times. * Prepare documents for signature by department heads and forward to creditors department on a daily basis. * Make sure that all documents have been processed in time to ensure accurate reports at month-end. * Adhere to cut-off dates for month-end and ensure that accurate reports are forwarded to the Financial Department. * Print reports for Department Heads. * Perform stocktaking at month-end and report any shortfalls and overstocks to Maintenance Manager. * Planned maintenance on On Key Maintenance System * Weekly Scheduling and Printing of Job Cards for Condition Based Maintenance(CBM) and Preventative Maintenance. * Contact Maintenance Manager in case of problems concerning outstanding job cards. * Schedule and print job cards for Usage Based Maintenance(UBM) as determined with the Maintenance Manager. * Guide and coordinate the functions of the Engineering Clerk. * Train Engineering Clerk to perform and follow the correct procedures. * Preferably Engineering background. * Attention to detail. * Time Management. * Computer Literacy (preferably Engineering Planning system). * Grade 12 or equivalent. * 6 Month Tertiary Certificate, preferably in Stores Fundamentals. * 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Market Related * Preferably Engineering background. * Attention to detail. * Time Management. * Computer Literacy (preferably Engineering Planning system). * Grade 12 or equivalent. * 6 Month Tertiary Certificate, preferably in Stores Fundamentals. * 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
