Junior Business Analyst – Cape Town, Western Cape Our client is looking for a Junior Business Analyst with 3+ years experience. The main purpose of the role is to understand business requirements & processes and identify business technology and/or process opportunities, working with business & IT managers to develop, implement and maintain solutions which deliver business value within agreed timelines and budget. Salary: Market-relatedContract Type: Permanent Requirements:Minimum 3 years of experience within IT Services and/or business analyst working with cross-functional teams.Experience in working within the Agile Development Life CycleExperience in working with relevant Automation and Simplification Tools.Experience in working with CRM, ERP, and BI toolsRelevant tertiary qualifications or certificates across the competence areas of IT, Engineering, or CommerceLeadership SkillsMust be competent in working with 3rd party development teamsMust be competent in engaging stakeholders across business functions and countriesBusiness facing experience in Order to Cash retail processes, e-commerce front end and order fulfilment, financial and operational reporting, practical involvement in one / several areas such as:Order to Cash retail processesE-commerce UXE-commerce order fulfilmentE-commerce payment gatewaysERPPOSExperience working as a part of, and ability to land, local projects.Contribution to and landing of technology enabled optimization project. Driving automation and touchless processes Responsibilities:The primary tasks, functions and deliverables of the role include, but are not limited to:Business PartneringSupport the DBS Portfolio Manager / Senior Business Analyst, and business stakeholders, to identify and shape opportunities in the space. Act as system SME for relevant functional solutions and platforms including but not limited to:Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution and processesPoint of Sale (POS) solution and processesPayment integration solutionsMiddleware integration layerCustomer Relationship Management (CRM) solution and processesE-Commerce platform and processesSupporting the Business and IT AgendaUnderstanding and translating the overall Enterprise Architecture to assess degree of conformance and opportunities for existing or new business processes Core BA and Project AccountabilitiesLead / contribute to:Establishing the contribution that technology can make to business objectives using a range of techniques such as eliciting and documenting requirements with stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies, producing business models, preparing business cases, usability requirements analysis and usability evaluationIdentifying and obtaining agreement on the requirements / features which will be most beneficial to the business and documenting requirementsAnalysis and documentation of issues and requirements for the solutions supported. Working closely with Process Leads, and Key Users to shape requirements and options.
