The company currently has the above-mentioned vacancy for a detail-oriented individual to take responsibility for the financial management function of the group, reporting directly to the Group Chief Financial Officer and indirectly to the Group CEO and Group Managing Director.Key Performance Areas:Timeous and accurate monthly management accountsBudget and forecastingWeekly credit risk exposure overviewCash flow planningForex managementMonthly reconciliations, accruals, and journalsIncome Tax and VAT complianceYear-end audit preparationReviewing and improving internal financial controlsStaff management and support to the finance teamRequirements:Relevant tertiary qualification (BAcc / BCom)Relevant professional registration (CA / CIMA / SAIPA)3-10 years post articles experienceRelevant experience in the fruit industry will be advantageousComputer literate (MS Office)Experience with the QX system / Pastel will be advantageousCommercially minded and entrepreneurial aptitudeStrong attention to detail and accuracyMulti-tasking ability and ability to prioritiseManagement and leadership aptitudeDeadline-orientatedWell-developed communication and administration skillsAn individual who is a team player and willing to walk the extra mileProfessional integrity and honesty to deliver an excellent standard of work The company offers market related remuneration and benefits, based on the successful applicant’s experience and qualifications.
