Explore new opportunities today! Our client is looking for a self-motivated Accountant to join their financial management department. In this role, you’ll play an important role in our company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and compliance with SARS requirements.Duties:
- Prepare financial statements on time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Matric/Grade 12 (Certificate required)
- Degree in Finance (completed)
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar position
- Computer package experience: Sage Pastel
- Understanding of mathematics accounting and financial processes.
- Ethical behaviour and Attention to detail.
- Mining/Manufacturing Industry experience
