Tax Administrator

Description:

A well established company based in Bedfordview is seeking a Tax Administrator.

Duties:

• Completion of SARS registrations for all tax types.
• IRP6 preparation and submission
• income tax calculations for individuals and companies
• Preparation and submission of ITR12 & ITR14 returns
• Ensuring all tax returns have been assessed and reconciliation of assessment to income tax calculation.
• Tax clearance certificates: Good standing & Approval for International Transfer (AIT)
• Maintenance of SARS eFiling profile
• Compiling income and expenses schedules for clients
• Uploading of supporting documentation for audit or verification purposes on eFiling
• Monitoring refunds to clients from SARS
• Completion and follow up on objections for all tax types
• Book meetings with SARS
• Visiting SARS for clients' queries with regards to banking details, refunds, reallocation of funds etc.
• Update registered details for individuals and companies
• Application for remittance of penalties for all tax types
• Application for deregistration for all tax types

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
• Must have experience working for an auditor / Tax consultant.

• Ability to solve practical problems, meticulous, self-disciplined, positive attitude, energetic, thrive on challenges, high level of accuracy, exceptional attention to detail, perseverance, deadline driven.
• Ability to accurately perform mathematical calculations, including percentages, fractions, decimals, and simple formulae.
• Sound written and verbal communication skills -Reliable and flexible individual.

• MS Office (Excel -Intermediate to advanced)

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Minimum of 2 years working experience in a similar role
• Must have experience working for an auditor / Tax consultant.
