Introduction:The main purpose of the job is to aid the store/branch manager, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Description:
· Overseeing the accurate and prompt processing of goods in the machine shop.
· Stock control
· Manage workflow regarding collection and delivery of goods
· Ensuring effective, efficient and safe operation of the machine shop.
· Ensuring that the machine shop is always maintained in a neat and tidy condition
· Daily checks regarding maintenance and accuracy of machinery
· To ensure that the department of the store run smoothly, products are purchased in line with The Building Company procurement policies and procedures, stock levels are kept in optimal levels and stock losses are controlled
· To lead, develop, motivate, and manage the performance of the team and ensure an optimally skilled, motivated, and high-performance team
· Ensure that customer complaints are dealt with in an effective manner and resolved.
Requirements:
Grade 12
Required Minimum Experience:3 years industry experience, technical qualification; good working knowledge of OHASA and SHE
Valid EB Drivers licence
