Aveng Media has an exciting opportunity for three project manager’s who will be responsible for managing and guiding the advertising sales team to actively market and secure sales revenue income for African Safaris, Mother & Child and African Business Quarterly revenue streams.Assume responsibility for the sales operation – this includes the development, planning, organising, supervising and controlling of the daily sales operational functions i.e. print, and digital in order to grow revenue and market share for African Safaris, Mother & Child and African Business Quarterly.Grow the Aveng Media audience and revenue through commercial input.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Management of agencies and clients within allocated portfolios.Achieving set revenue targetsEnsuring excellent customer service to all external stakeholders.Servicing advertising agencies (digital/ traditional) and direct clients.Monitoring client advertising spend and managing client commitments.Ongoing monitoring of competitor ad spend trends.Identifying new business opportunities.Follow up client / agency customer queries.Maintaining client service expectation.Following company briefing and booking processes.Minimum requirements:Five years' advertising sales experienceExtensive knowledge and sales experience within the media industry.Ability to identify and exploit sales opportunities in the marketplace.Excellent presentation skills to agencies and clients directly.Proven sales achievements.Computer literate.Sound administrative skills.Must be self-motivated and a team player.
