My client is a leader within the global transport and logistics sector and is looking for a Financial / Revenue Controller that can add value to their finance team. The main responsibility of the Financial Controller is to assist the Manager and Financial Analyst by analyzing and reporting revenue figures within the division. This role involves identifying control risks and establishing measures to prevent losses, ensuring thorough and precise billing processes.

As a Financial / Revenue Controller you will responsible for the following:

• Monitor daily revenue dashboards and distribute reports to relevant stakeholders.
• Aid the Manager in compiling forecast and budget documents.
• Address aged Work in Progress (WIP) issues with branch offices and ensure resolution.
• Analyze revenue data and provide insights on variances from budget and previous periods.
• Generate Revenue Trend Analysis reports.
• Manage the closure of the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Reconcile billing systems (TMS) with the financial system (SAP).
• Prepare revenue journals for accounting purposes.
• Collaborate with business units to enhance net working capital through timely billing.
• Regularly validate customer rates to ensure accuracy.
• Produce client volume reports.
• Participate in routine revenue audits.
• Report internal revenue allocations to branches.
• Generate profitability reports to assess business performance.
• Prepare Client Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) and monitor client performance metrics.
• Assist in compiling sales commission reports.
• Provide support to external auditors regarding revenue-related inquiries.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Completed Bcom Accounting
5 years experience
Experience in SAP would be beneficial
Excellent attention to detail
