Description:
A client in the software development space requires an experienced Data Engineer to join their team. Your main responsibility will be designing, developing, and maintaining data warehouses and data lake solutions for clients. Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in data engineering
- Strong data warehousing and data lake architecture experience
- Data Vault and dimensional modelling techniques
- SQL experience
- Big data experience such as Hadoop, Spark, AWS EMR
- Experience with data streaming technologies such as Kafka, AWS
- Cloud technologies and ETL Tools
KPA’s:
- Design and develop data warehousing and data lake solutions
- Ensure data accuracy
- Implement ETL processes using tools such as AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory, Matillion, SSIS, Informatica, Talend, and Ab Initio
