Our client in the Automotive industry is seeking a Mechanical Estimator (Engineer) to join their team in Port Elizabeth. Tasks:- Understanding the Technical Requirements of Clients in the Automotive Industry
- Creating Innovative Engineering Concept Solutions to Meet Client Needs
- Working with Other Engineers to Perform Feasibility Studies, Develop Models, and Specify Hardware and Equipment
- Working with Other Engineers to Improve on Existing Processes and Mechanical Designs
- Determining and Costing of Mechanical Hardware and Labour Required for Potential Projects
- Becoming Familiar with Client Specific Mechanical Design Standards and Practices
- Preparation and Formatting of Tender Documentation
- Obtaining Supplier Quotes
- Adhoc Tasks
Skills:
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Related
- Eagerness to Enhance and Grow Understanding of Engineering Principles and Systems
- Additional Studies Welcomed in the Direction Suited to This Position
