Our client in the construction business is seeking to employ a Site/Contract Manager for join their team in Johannesburg The successful candidate will be required to have:Health and Safety certification Higher education in construction management Fluent in English and Afrikaans Have 3 years work experience as a contracts manager specifically in the construction industry Responsibilities and Skills of Position:Overseeing and coordinating projects from the planning to the completion of project Ensuring all assigned projects are complete within budget and deadline dates Supervising teams and sub contractors to ensure optimal efficiency and high quality service at all times Inspecting assigned sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards Supervising and instructing teams as well as subcontractors on each site Attend site meetings Assisting with ordering and obtaining supplies, scheduling equipment maintenance and managing employees Must have excellent leadership and communication skills Must have excellent organisational and planning skills Must be able to interpret engineering plans and drawings SECTOR: Construction
