Candidates who meet the below minimum requirements are invited to submit their application via the link provided.Minimum requirements:Valid Code 14 drivers license with PDPGood communication skills in Afrikaans and EnglishBe willing to work long hours / Must be able to drive long distances Be presentable and neat Able to plan routesMinimum 5 years' experience as a code 14 driverMust be physically fitBe able to drive according to google mapsMust be a team playerDuties will include:Conduct pre-trip checks on assigned trucks to ensure they are in good working order Follow assigned routes and adhere to time schedulesLoad and unload delivery vehicles Accept and analyze deliveries orders, prioritizing tasks Assist loaders in moving furniture into delivery trucks and ensuring proper stacking and securing Plan efficient routes using GPS and traditional mapsHandle paperwork relayed to deliveries, including warranty documents Interact with the dispatch unit to report successful deliveries Perform preventive and routine maintenance on assigned vehicles Assemble new pieces before placing them in their final locationMove existing items into place and secure them properly Remuneration: R8 000Food allowance and accommodation allowance are paid on deliveries out of town Monday to FridayIMPORTANT:Applications close 04 March 2024Only applications submitted via the Ditto Jobs platform will be consideredOnly candidates who meet all our client's minimum requirements will be contacted
