The main objective of the Junior Process Engineer is to assist in creating high-quality and cost-effective process solutions through process modelling, site inspections and testing, turn-key projects and research and development.Job Description:* Emissions Testing for Engineering Design and Performance Testing purposes.* Preparation of mass and energy balances.* Preparation of equipment data sheets (specification of process equipment and instrumentation).* Preparation of PFDs and P&IDs.* Preparation of process design documentation, including control philosophies and design reports.* Liaising with suppliers and clients.* Working with other engineering disciplines throughout the design and implementation phase.* Complex process modelling and design calculations.* Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tenders.* Investigation of (site testing and inspections) and reporting on clients process problems.* Determination of the scope of work.* Commissioning and testing of new installations.* Problem-solving on new/old installations.* Continuous monitoring of the performance of a plant over a one-year guarantee period (with an interval of 3 months) and reporting on findings.* Laboratory and pilot-scale work to validate process design parameters.Skills Required:* Analytical ability and expertise in understanding complex issues.* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.* Self-motivated.* Performance-driven.* Loyal and dedicated.* Passion for engineering.* Assertive.
