Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Procurement Manager with a strong background in Commercial and Procurement activities, particularly in the solar and construction fields. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, a minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial and/or Procurement in total with atleast 4 years of experience in solar and/or construction projects exceeding $30M in procurement. The successful candidate will play a key role in our Renewable Energy projects, ensuring the efficient procurement of equipment/materials and subcontracting services.Responsibilities:Manage the international OEM suppliers for PV modules, inverters, trackers and power transformersMust have experience in South Africa's contracting industry for civil construction, mechanical, electrical and HV grid connection installation.Understand local codes and standardsOversee the entire contract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Manage change orders efficiently and effectively, addressing modifications to contracts in a timely mannerSource, evaluate and negotiate suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and high quality procurement of equipment/materials or subcontractingConduct supplier reviews and evaluations, maintaining positive and productive business relationshipsWork autonomously in a fast-paced, professional team environment, demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks in line with project schedules and deadlines.Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, confidently interacting with individuals at all levels of the organizationIdentify, investigate and solve problems that arise in a timely manner, maintaining project momentum.Requirements:5+ Years experienceAtleast Bachelor's Degree
