Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Supervisor with a solid background in QA/QC to ensure that all electrical aspects of the PV system, from the panels to the electrical infrastructure, are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards.Key Activities:Develop, implement, and enforce quality standards and procedures specific to the electrical aspects of PV projects.Review electrical designs to ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and project requirements.Inspect and approve electrical materials and components, including solar panels, inverters, wiring, and junction boxes, to verify their quality and suitability.Conduct on-site inspections to verify that electrical components and wiring are installed correctly and according to design specifications.Enforce safety protocols to protect workers during electrical installation and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.Oversee and participate in the testing and commissioning of electrical components to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.Verify that electrical protection systems, such as surge protection and grounding, are correctly installed and functioning.Review and maintain comprehensive records of project documentation related to the electrical aspects, including electrical schematics, as-built drawings, and equipment manuals.Provide training and guidance to project teams and subcontractors on electrical quality and safety requirements.Requirements:8-10 Years experience with 3 years in a similar roleBachelors degree in Electrical engineeringLead Auditor certificate (an advantage)Experience in quality assurance & pre dispatch inspections of the electrical Components
