Role Purpose: As a Production Planner, you'll be responsible for orchestrating our production requirements, ensuring timely completion of orders, and maintaining open communication with internal and external stakeholders. Your commitment to meeting monthly billing targets and facilitating expedited orders will be pivotal in driving our success.Responsibilities:Lead the planning process to align operation demand plans with customer service and revenue objectives.Ensure accurate and timely updates of planning tools, reports, and systems.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth supply chain operations.Identify and address production bottlenecks, implementing preventative measures and escalating issues as needed.Maintain open communication with planning groups, production managers, and expeditors on a daily basis.Coordinate production schedules and material orders to optimize resource allocation.Utilize sales forecasts to determine production resource requirements.Cultivate positive relationships within the operations environment to foster a proactive working atmosphere.Develop and monitor production metrics to drive continuous improvement.Fulfill any reasonable requests from management.Desired Qualifications and Skills:Matric qualification required.Industrial Engineering or relevant experience advantageous.Project management experience beneficial.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Knowledge of Syspro or SAP ERP systems preferred.Valid driver's license.4-8 years of experience in a similar role preferred.Pump experience essential.Skills:Self-motivated with a process-driven mindset.Meticulous attention to detail.Strong problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication skills.Analytical and detail-oriented.Proactive approach to problem-solving.Customer service-oriented with a tenacious yet friendly demeanor.Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.Strong interpersonal skills.Deadline-driven with excellent administrative and data management abilities.Resilient in the face of challenges.Apply now!
