This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects that address the world's energy challenges while advancing your career in renewable energy.Responsibilities:Lead the design and engineering of solar power systems, including photovoltaic (PV) arrays, inverters, transformers, and balance of system components.Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal locations for solar installations, considering factors such as solar irradiance, shading, and electrical infrastructure.Develop detailed electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and specifications for solar projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technicians, and subcontractors, to coordinate the installation, commissioning, and testing of solar systems.Perform system performance analysis and optimization, utilizing tools such as PVSYST and PVSOL to maximize energy yield and reliability.Provide technical expertise and support to resolve engineering challenges, troubleshoot electrical issues, and implement innovative solutions.Stay abreast of advancements in solar technology, industry trends, and emerging best practices, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the organization.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on solar energy systems.Proven track record of successful solar project design, development, and implementation.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD), electrical design tools, and simulation software for solar PV systems (e.g., PVSYST, PVSOL).Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations applicable to solar installations (e.g., NEC, IEEE, UL).Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop practical solutions.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability principles in all aspects of engineering work.
