Description:
Seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to run the Main market portfolio for 1 of the Top 4 banks in South Africa. This is for a contract from February 2022 - June 2022.
Development, management and implementation of marketing and communication strategy plans
Focus on adding value to the main market portfolio
Alignment of campaigns and projects
Development and review of communication and marketing strategies, plans, policies
Communicate group communication and marketing strategies to agency stakeholders
Build brand awareness
Keep abreast of the various developments: marketing, branding, financial services, public relations
Oversee advertising, public relations, press releases, sponsorships, media planning
Oversee the development of supporting marketing to position customer demand
Implement promotional campaigns
Set targets
Identify measuring tools
Work within budget
Approval and submission of reporting dashboards
Work within the advertising codes, banking regulations and codes of practices
Draft the business unit media plans
Give input into the formulation and development of communication strategies
Drive awareness
Keep abreast of competitor activities
In charge of project management: scope, strategy, objections, budgets, approved channels, deadlines, contingency planning, campaign analysis
Request marketing research surveys
Develop customer insights to drive business decision making
Share recommendations with the business and Senior Marketing Manager
Incident reports
Risk and compliance management - work within regulatory framework
Stakeholder management
Encourage and motivate team
Contribute to budget management
Able to work from the office, open to travelling locally and up in Africa
Must have:
Degree in Marketing
Prefer a Post graduate degree in Marketing
No less than 5-7 years' of work experience as a Marketing Manager, preferable from the banking sector
