As Junior Systems Developer you will have the opportunity to work both in a vibrant office environment and on-site at various companies, gaining hands-on experience in a rapidly evolving area of the mining industry. BEng/BSc in Electronic Engineering/ Computer Science/Information Technology required. Recent graduates with limited experience will also be welcomed. Based in Sandton region, Gauteng.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology (BEng/BSc only). Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, and Ladder Logic. Knowledge of databases (SQL and No-SQL), graphical user interfaces, and system maintenance. Familiarity with IoT technology, communication protocols (HTTP, MQTT, FTP), and hardware components. Development of graphical user interfaces. Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud is highly beneficial. Familiarity with Xamarin and mobile application development (iOS and Android). While prior work experience is advantageous, recent graduates with a passion for technology and a final year project focusing on innovative solutions which demonstrates relevant interest and expertise are welcome to apply Exposure to project management, even on a small scale, is an advantage. Proficiency with hand tools, strong computer skills, and an interest in the mining or civil engineering industry are desirable. A valid driver's license and access to own transportation.
