Then this is for you, we have an exciting opportunity as a Category Manager - New Verticals
This online food ordering company is looking for a Category Manager who can have a direct impact on the success of New Verticals to ensure that our retail the best range across our merchants. The Category Manager will work on a project that is related with optimizing the menus for some of the largest partners in the grocery, convenience and liquor categories.
Duties include:
Menu creation & optimization: You will create and optimize menu templates for our key categories which ensure that we have the best SKU range and can source the best pricing for the range: Grocery Liquor and Convenience You will also work with GS1 to ensure that all SKUs have consistent naming conventions and barcodes associated with them Stakeholder and project management: You will help in the project that implements these menu templates across our sales and onboarding processes Operational Support: Be the operational glue that holds together major team efforts for our menu optimization project Menu ranging support: You will do analysis and gather research to enable us to have the best SKU ranges across all our menu templates
Requirements:
Excellent Excel capabilities- Skilled at doing analysis on Excel and organizing data in a structured way using excel tools such as Pivot tables FMCG experience: Worked in Buying, Merchandising or Category Management teams within FMCG with basic understanding of how product ranging works Superior organizational skills - organizing and planning are your jam Meticulous attention to detail - the little stuff doesn't get past you! Strong communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external partners
