Description:

Our client in the Engineering and Technical sector is looking for a skilled Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer with knowledge in cabinetry and woodworking to join their team. Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop machinery for cabinetry and woodworking applications, considering industry standards, client requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather specifications, conceptualize designs, and create detailed engineering drawings using CAD software.
  • Apply technical expertise to optimize machinery performance, enhance productivity, and improve the precision and quality of cabinetry and woodworking processes.
  • Conduct thorough analysis to diagnose and troubleshoot machinery faults, providing effective solutions in a timely manner to minimize downtime for clients.
  • Communicate and collaborate with clients, colleagues, and non-technical stakeholders to understand their needs, provide technical assistance, and offer recommendations for machinery improvements.
  • Stay updated with advancements in cabinetry and woodworking techniques, materials, and industry trends to continuously enhance your knowledge and expertise.
  • Manage projects effectively, ensuring tasks are prioritized, deadlines are met, and resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Promote a strong focus on customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional support, resolving client concerns, and providing training and guidance on machinery operation and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations throughout the design and implementation of machinery solutions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles, electrical systems, and automation.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for designing machinery and engineering drawings.
  • In-depth knowledge of cabinetry design principles, woodworking techniques, and materials.
  • Familiarity with woodworking machinery, CNC technology, and industry-specific safety regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot machinery faults effectively.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines.
  • Adaptable and open to learning new technologies and industry advancements.
