Competencies Required:
- Proven relevant experience in leave and benefits experience in an HR environment.
- Computer literate in relevant SAGE Software packages (VIP Premier, Payroll)
- Intermediate level Microsoft 365
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Proven ability to work with numbers and attention to detail
- Proven knowledge of BCEA leave procedures
- Ability to respect confidentiality, effectively work accurately and in a team
- Good interpersonal skills
- Planning, organising and coordinating own work activities to meet deadlines in achieving the performance outputs of the Human Resources Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Administering the leave function within the organisation
- Experienced working in VIP, ESS, EXCEL and MS Teams
- Checking and Auditing leave forms
- Apply the Leave Rules in terms of clients Leave policy when checking the leave forms
- Checking of Leave Forms against the Attendance Registers
- Assist with the implementation of ESS and acting as the first point of call for assistance in using the system
- Setting up a Benefits Library in MS Teams
- Draw reports and do an analysis of leave taken per department
- Setting up and maintaining accurate HR files, records, and documentation
- Assisting staff with ESS queries
