Description:
Urgently looking for an experienced Accountant with either a diploma or degree in Accounting to join one of our big banking clients in Bryanston on a 2-year contract.
No less than 3 years' Accountant experience, would be a plus if you have worked in a banking environment before and can speak a bit of French, BUT it is not a must
Must have a clear criminal, credit (ITC) and fraud record
Will be responsible for:
Keep accounts in order
Recording accounting transactions
Posting transactions to bank accounts
Adjusting incorrect transactions
Periodic recons and reporting anomalies
Verification of accounting documentation
Assist with treasury operations: pay operating and capital expenditure, drawing up periodic reports
Monthly and annual closing of accounts
Must have great communication - verbal and written
