Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with post qualificationexperience (4 – 7 years) in the automotive industry
Knowledge and Skills Required
Proficient in the use of Autodesk Inventor/ Solidworks Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel & Outlook Working knowledge of AutoCAD Ability to perform engineering calculations Ability to read and fully understand engineering plans and details Excellent technical understanding of engineering principles Working knowledge of ISO Standards Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills to interact with internal andexternal stakeholders. Comfortable and confident engaging with customers Excellent organisational and time management skills Creative problem solver with an analytical approach to implementation
Ability to work under pressure, meet targets and work to deadlines
Main Responsibilities:
3D modelling using Autodesk Inventor 2D drafting using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Autodesk Inventor Preparation and review of technical documentation including proposals,statements of works (SoW) and specifications Production of bills of materials (BoMs) Providing technical support for manufacturing team Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational
manuals Liaison with suppliers and manufacturing team Leading and participating in internal and external design review meetings Work collaboratively with design engineers and project managers Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and
engineering best practices Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets
