Description:
Urgently looking for an experienced and qualified Fund Accountant / Administrator to conduct Fund administration functions, joining a start up business within the bank, for one of the Top Banks in S.A.
Candidate could work from Cape Town, working on a 12-month contract.
We need a candidate who is keen on joining a start up business within the existing bank
Open to continuous improvement
Comfortable within the fund service space - liaising with Provident fund and Asset management clients
Familiar with fund accounting software, selling it to clients'
Fund administration experience is KEY
Drafting the necessary reports
Able to service all asset classes
Must be familiar with unit pricing - non -negotiable
Diligently review performance - funds coming in and out
Daily conduct NAV calculations - value of client portfolio
Must have in-depth financial instrument experience
Offer front office services to support clients
Qualifications, experience, skills, knowledge:
Relevant Financial / Accounting degree. Would be first price to have a CA
No less than 10 years' relevant experience within fund administration/investment firm and banking
