C# Developer - Semi Remote
The ideal candidate must show skills in maintaining existing code as well as developing new features, and exposure to multi-tier environments is a great advantage. From time to time this candidate will be expected to be customer facing, so good communication skills is a requirement. The future of some aspects of our desktop solutions lean toward mobile and web, so an interest in current trends and future technologies that are online and remote is a great advantage. A results driven individual with a wide range of experience and a yearning for continual improvement looking for a stable and long term position in a small to medium company with dynamic and loyal colleagues will definitely enjoy this position.
- Recent experience and interest in windows desktop (winforms) development essential
- Strong C# skills required, a good demonstrative understanding of event driven and object oriented programming a must
- MySql as well as MS-SQL skills required
- Good problem solving skills required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience required
- Java experience will be an advantage
- Microsoft Certification advantage
- Work from home opportunity – must be reliable and able to self-supervise
- A reliable technical working environment at home is a requirement
- Own transport and a driver’s license is a requirement
- Customer facing skills an advantage
- Must reside in the greater Johannesburg area, South Africa
