Together with our client, a logistics company we are recruiting for a Sales Representative - Road Freight based in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate must have 4 - 5 years of sales/marketing experience in the road freight/logistics industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sourcing and establishing new clients; Maintaining business relationships; Maintain a strong customer service attitude; Assist and resolve queries in the operations and accounts department as and when required; Developing and presenting proposals for potential and existing clients; Providing training and assisting customers with the Company track and online website Achieving monthly budgets; Both Existing and New business budget Completing daily CRM reports; Ensure all clients are visited within 40 days; Growing existing business cross-selling with existing clients; Assisting the debtor’s department with the collection of outstanding monies as and when required; Printing of waybills and labels, if required; Innovating new business opportunities; General contribution towards sales team; Assistance in the customer service department as and when required; Dealing with all relevant warehouse queries in a friendly and courteous manner; Ensure that timeous quotes are given to all customers and that they are accurate and up to date;
Qualifications:
Level 4 equivalent to standard 10 / grade 12 4 - 5 years of sales/marketing experience in road freight/logistics
Skills:
Knowledge of Company standards and procedures, processes and systems. Communication skills and telephone etiquette Technical Competence Creative thinking Detail-oriented Customer Service Driven Computer Skills Organized, Fast Thinker Problem Solver Hard working, ReliableSalary:
R 25 000.00 – R 30 000.00 CTC per month Medical Aid Pension Fund
